The Recreation Committee’s main function is to provide lunch on every first and third Sunday of the month. Lunch is served at St. Mary’s parish hall after Sunday mass. The Committee is also responsible for taking care of the potluck dinner celebrations for special occasions, such as Easter, Feast Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Chinese New Year.
The purpose of the Sunday luncheons is to provide opportunities for members to get to know each other. Charge is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for senior citizens, students and children under 10 years of age. First-time visitors are welcome free of charge.
Volunteer families prepare these lunches and are reimbursed for their expenses. An annual assignment schedule of the volunteer families is prepared each December. Please contact
a parish council member if you would like to volunteer.
