天主的仁慈與修和聖事

承接上週 : 告解聖事 (四之三)
在告解聖事當中，罪人來到教堂，在基督的跟前，由司鐸以基督之名和大能，聆聽罪人的罪、安排補贖和赦免罪人的過犯。
敎理教導我們「向司鐸告明，是懺悔聖事的必要部分。….」 (1456) 。
告解其實是很簡單的﹕我們只需對司鐸開放我們的心，以真誠的痛悔，陳述我們的過失，並祈求獲得赦罪；然後，藉著敎會和耶穌基督之名，司鐸赦免懺悔者的罪。這時刻，你將感受到：在教會生活中基督以最清楚而直接的方式赦罪，展現祂的奇異大能。告解的核心是赦罪，這極重要的部份，只有司鐸能以教會的權柄，因耶穌基督之名，給予赦罪。
我們要完全徹底明白：只有天主能寛赦我們的罪！而我們把罪帶到教堂，是因為耶穌已給予宗徒祂自己赦罪的能力。藉此，耶穌給予祂教會權柄，去重新修和並恢復罪人與天主以及罪人與教會團體之間的關係。教會團體的幅度，正強而有力地在基督對西滿伯多祿所說的話中表達出來：「我要將天國的鑰匙交給你，凡你在地上所束縛的，在天上也要被束縛；凡你在地上所釋放的，在天上也要被釋放。」
(瑪 16:19)
懺悔聖事，是一個獨特的法庭﹕懺悔者，即有罪的一方，指控自己所犯的罪，並哀痛地來到天主跟前，在天主的代表面前承認自己的罪。司鐸則代替基督聆聽懺悔者供認自己的罪，所以懺悔者對司鐸所說的話是嚴肅而強制性地受到最全面的保密﹔司鐸是以基督之名宣佈救世主的慈悲：「我因父及子及聖神之名，赦免你的罪過。」

God’s Mercy and the Sacrament of Penance

four weeks, I want to post a partial Pastoral Letter of Archbishop
Wuerl regarding about the Sacrament of Penance on our Church
Bulletin. Archbishop Wuerl has sent this Pastoral Letter to every
church in the Archdiocese of Washington and asked that each and
everyone of us to understand more about and use this great gift that

Confession (3 of 4)
In the sacrament of Penance the sinner comes before Christ in his
church in the person of the priest who hears the sins, imposes a
penance and absolves the sinner in the name and power of Christ.
The Catechism teaches us that “confession to a priest is an
essential part of the sacrament of Penance…” (1456). There is a
comforting simplicity to confession. With sincere contrition we need
only open our hearts to the priest, recount our failings and ask for
forgiveness. What follows is one of those moments in the life of the
Church when the awesome power of Jesus Christ is most clearly and
directly felt. In the name of the Church and Jesus Christ, the
priest absolves the penitent from sin At the heart of confession is
the momentous action of absolution that only a priest can grant by
invoking the authority of the Church and acting in the person of
Jesus Christ.
Fully conscious that only God forgives sins, we bring our failings
to the church because Jesus imparted to his apostles his own power
to forgive sins. In doing this Jesus gave to his Church the
authority to restore ad reconcile the sinner with God and also the
ecclesial community, the Church. This ecclesial dimension is
expressed most forcefully in Christ’s words to Simon Peter: “I will
give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on
earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth
shall be loosed in heaven” (Mt 16:19)
The sacrament of Penance is an unusual tribunal. The guilty party,
the penitent, accuses oneself and approaches the Lord in sorrow,
admitting guilt before his representative. It is in place of Christ
that the priest hears the confession of guilt; the words spoken to
him are therefore guarded by the most solemn obligation of complete
confidentiality. It is in the name of Christ that the priest
pronounces the Savior’s mercy: “I absolve you from your sins in the
name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

愛德運動: 今年四旬期，團體再次進行Operation Rice Bowl活動, 透過天主教海外救援服務(Catholic
Relief Services), 讓大家了解世界各地處於貧困中的兄弟姐妹，並以祈禱﹑守齋及善工來幫助他們。Rice
Bowl盒子可於彌撒後索取。請家長們身體力行，與孩子們一起實踐四旬期的精神, 使貧困者尤其是婦女得見天國的光榮 。詳情請瀏覽

四旬期守齋﹕按教會規定﹐凡年滿十四歲的教友在四旬期內的每星期五應守小齋(即當天不可食肉)。請教友們注意。

教堂捐款信封﹕依2007年新稅法，每次捐款均必須有記錄，否則無法報稅。為此，團體決定使用教堂捐款信封。三月份的捐款信封已寄出，如三月三日還未收到，可能是地址有誤或有漏失，請即刻與本堂阮神父或司徒余海燕Cecilia

Wang聯絡。為便利財務登記，無論您年底需不需要這些紀錄，還是捐獻現金或支票，都請儘量使用已印好自家地址的捐獻信封。如果信封上您的資料有錯，敬請在信封上修改、交回。在使用這些信封之初，必定會有些混亂﹑麻煩，希望大家能多體諒﹑合作。
