傷痕累累卻又滿載光榮的基督
耶穌死而復活以後，來到門戶緊閉的屋內，顯現在那群害怕的門徒中間。當門徒看見耶穌光榮的身體，那在祂手上和肋旁，因十架酷刑所遺留下來的傷痕時，他們不禁歡欣雀躍，因為他們知道主戰勝了罪惡和死亡，主己復活！當時，只有多默不在場，在未能親眼看到那些傷痕以前，他也拒絕相信主真的復活了。
基督那副傷痕累累卻又滿載光榮的身體，提醒我們：主確實與我們在一起並承擔著全人類的罪債！在看到人間許多疾苦以後，我們或許也會像多默一樣，懷疑基督是否戰勝了罪惡和死亡？儘管我們現在還不能完全明白，但憑藉信德的眼睛，我們將看到天主在醫治且轉化這些創傷。當我們在現實的痛苦、疾病、
暴力以及各種的不公平中掙扎的時候，耶穌對多默所說的話，其實也是對我們而說的：「把你的指頭伸到這裏來，看看我的手罷！並伸過你的手來，探入我的肋膀，不要作無信的人，但要作個有信德的人。」(若
20:27)
就如父派遣耶穌來到這世上，耶穌現在也派遣我們去醫治受創傷的人，使他們與天主和好。而當我們看到並接觸到那些被疾病、暴力以及不公平所傷害的弟兄姊妹時，我們其實就是看到也接觸到基督那副傷痕累累卻又滿載光榮的身體。每當我們被天主的恩寵所感動，而為那些受苦的人帶來安慰、和平以及公義的時候，我們或許會開始認出：其實，基督就在我們當中，就如多默所呼的：「我主！我天主！」

2nd Sunday of Easter – C
SCARRED AND GLORIOUS CHRIST
After Jesus had risen from the dead, he appeared in the midst of his
fearful disciples gathered together behind locked doors. The
disciples saw that Jesus' glorious body bore the scars of his
violent crucifixion on his hands and side. They rejoiced for they
recognized that indeed the Lord had risen and conquered sin and
death. Only Thomas was absent and refused to believe until he could
see those scars with his own eyes.
The scarred yet glorious Body of Christ reminds us that the Lord
identifies with and bears within himself the woundedness of all
humanity. Like Thomas, we might be tempted to disbelieve that Christ
is fully victorious over sin and death when we witness that so much
of humanity still suffers. Yet with the eyes of faith, we might
begin to see that indeed the Lord heals and transforms that
woundedness, albeit in ways that we cannot yet understand. Jesus'
words to Thomas are addressed to us as well as we struggle with the
sad realities of sickness, violence and injustice: 'Put your finger
here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it in my side,
and do not be unbelieving, but believe' (John 20:27).
As the Father sent Jesus into the world, so Jesus now sends us to
heal and reconcile a wounded humanity. When we see and touch our
brothers and sisters wounded by sickness, violence and injustice, we
in fact see and touch the scarred and glorious Body of Christ. When
we are moved by God's grace to help bring comfort, peace and justice
to those who suffer, we just might begin to recognize that Christ is
in our midst and like Thomas proclaim "My Lord and My God!"
